Our main service is to provide you with all the information that you need in order to make an educated decision. You will receive CVs and if required arrange phone and video conferences with your Doctor or Surgeon. We will endeavour to obtain the information that you will require to feel totally confident with your choice.
As part of the HTIL service, we will help facilitate the initial consultation between you and the doctor. Additional correspondence before traveling can be conducted via phone, email or for complicated cases, a video-conference can be arranged. For cosmetic surgery, the doctors will want to see images of the designated regions for surgery. These images can easily be sent via email though the use of your registration number that will be assigned to you to protect your anonymity.
We will do everything possible to ensure that you are comfortable with the hospitals recommended by us. We have visited these facilities and can attest to their standard of hygiene, use of technology and quality of service and aftercare.
A great question, there are many countries jumping onto the Medical Tourism Train and are offering great deals. The recommended Hotels are chosen for their ability to cater for post surgical patients, which includes everything from cleanliness, room facilities, location and even the food (quality food is an important part of recovery process)
Of course, you do not have to use the services of a facilitator such as HTIL, you can go directly to the hospitals and make your own travel arrangements.
It depends on your selected procedure. In most cases the required length of stay in your destination will be between 2 and 3 weeks. Your surgeon will advise you on the length of stay in the hospital and destination in your initial quotation.
No problem. If you need to make any changes to your medical retreat itinerary, your Client Care Manager will take care of all the work for you. They will revise your flight itinerary, as well as your hotel stay. There may however be charges from your airline for making such changes. You will be advised of these prior to us making any changes on your behalf.
Prior to you departure, you will be receive several contact numbers. These contacts include the Manager in your country and the Managing Director of HTIL. If you have chosen the Destination Personal Assistant package, you will receive a cell phone to use through the duration of your medical vacation. This cell phone will be programmed with all the important phone numbers that you will need.
At HTIL, we offer a Guarantee, which stipulates that if you decide to not go through with your procedure after meeting your doctor and touring the hospital, you will not be charged for only the services which you have used, e.g. hotel, flight, food etc.
We encourage our clients to bring a relative or friend with them. They can stay in the same hotel room at no additional charge. In fact, many of our hotel affiliates offer buffet breakfast for two. The only extra expense that your companion will incur will be the cost of the flight, meals, and other travel essentials.
Yes. You can make your own flight arrangements. However, we strongly encourage our clients to use our affiliate travel partner so that in the event you need to make any changes to your HTIL flight itinerary, we easily work with our travel partner to make those changes on your behalf. It will be difficult for us to make changes to any bookings you have made directly due to privacy act policies.
Yes. You can arrange your own hotel stay. However, we strongly recommend that you stay in one of our recommended hotels as we have chosen them specifically for their ability in meeting the needs of post op patients. The final choice is yours.
